Final Weekend

We reviewed the Ah ha moments such as evaluation levels, experimental design, importance of formativew reivew and we learned about ROI.

ROI
  • You can quantify the benefits and convert them to dollars and cents.
  • Continue training regardless if 1/saftety, 2/legal 3/public relations - example Tylenol in the 1980's tampering scandal.
  • Know your employee - what youcan get out of them
  • Justify the benefits
  • Intangible types of types can be transformed to tangibl $

We discussed the freedom of Information Act and how employers will be forced to discuss this information (salary benefits/loading) through HR. We also discussed benchmark - what are you comparing it to?

Quote from Will Rogers - "Even if you are on the right track - if you just sit there you will ge run over."
